Projects can be created as simple drafts or fully detailed setups. We recommend completing as much information as possible early on to avoid duplicate work later.<hr><h2>Filling Out the Project Details Screen</h2>Follow these steps on the Project Details screen:Add Basic Details: Enter the project name, project code or number, and current status.Assign the Client: Select the project’s client. This automatically activates the client portal, which remains permission locked to external users until they are added to a workflow stage.Set the Date Range: Define the estimated project duration. These dates serve as planning guidance but won’t restrict scheduling if the project extends or shortens later.Set Night Shift Hours: Define the hours that count as night shifts. These Jobs become available for scheduling and tracking in the Project Planner. These fields are visible to technicians in their mobile schedule, helping them understand scope and context.Assign Required Skills: If the task requires specific training or qualifications, add them via the Required Skills dropdown. This list connects directly to your central Skills menu.Enter Planned Hours: Estimate the total duration needed for the task, including logistics, standby, or travel time.Example: The task activity takes 6 hours, but factoring in breaks and transfer time, the total estimated work time is 12 hours.Planned hours are aggregated across all tasks at a location to provide precise Planned vs Actual comparisons once work begins.Specify Weather Dependencies: In the Affected By section, select relevant weather types that could delay or restrict planning. It can only be edited within the Project Wizard.When your entries are complete, click Launch Project to finalize setup.Congratulations—you’ve just created a fully structured and intelligent project environment! Adding their names during setup defines positions only, it does not yet link them to the live project environment.<hr>“I want to reuse the teams and jobs from this project in another project.” No problem. In the Project Planner, select the current project to display its available jobs and teams. From the Available Jobs panel on the right-hand side, drag and drop the desired job or team into any planner board row in the new project.<hr>“I want to change a workflow for one report within a project.” You can!Create a new workflow in the Workflow menu.Open the Forms section in the Project Wizard.Locate the specific report and assign the new workflow to it.&nbsp;<h4>&nbsp;</h4>

They make environment setup faster, simpler, and add valuable historical context to improve operational performance, for both your own operations and those of your customers. They can also be performed at any time, just contact your customer success manger for more information.<h2>Sites and Assets Migration</h2>You can import site and asset names, locations, and identifiers directly into Twindo. Currently, this is handled with support from our Customer Success Team.Provide a XLSX or CSV file containing your sites and assets.Our team will handle the import for you.In an upcoming release, a XLSX or CSV upload option in the Project Wizard will allow you to complete this process independently.<h2>Technician Migration</h2>If you have a large pool of technicians, manual entry isn’t always practical. You can request the import of technician details such as names, personal data, roles, and rates directly into your Twindo environment using XLSX or CSV files. Contact your Customer Success Manager to initiate the process.<h2>Certificates Migration</h2>Technician certificates can also be imported in bulk using XLSX or CSV files. This ensures all qualifications are correctly linked to individual technicians from day one. Reach out to your Customer Success Manager for setup guidance.<h2>Historical Reports Migration</h2>Historical reports, such as inspections, work orders, and HSEQ documents, etc, can be added to your Twindo environment. <h2>Technician and Reporting FAQ</h2>Q: How do technicians edit reports after submitting them? A: To maintain Quality Management System standards, technicians cannot edit their submitted reports directly. The report must be rejected back to the technician for revision. Alternatively, back office users can edit reports manually in Reports › Edit.<hr>Q: A technician cannot see any projects; what’s wrong? A: Ensure the technician is properly assigned to the project within a job slot in the Project Planner.<hr>Q: A technician’s mobile app isn’t working properly; how do I troubleshoot it? A: First, confirm they’re using the latest app version. Have them check the app store for updates before continuing troubleshooting.<hr>Q: A technician selected the wrong turbine, site, or project in a submitted report, how do I fix it? A: Go to Reports › Edit › Location Edit (top-right corner) and update the location details.<hr>Q: I can’t find a report that a technician says they submitted, what should I do? A: If filtering doesn’t help, consider these common causes:The technician submitted the report with poor or no internet connection and hasn’t reopened the app while connected to sync it.The wrong target location (e.g., turbine pad number) was selected. Check other reports submitted on the same dates, the missing one might be saved under a different location name. Use timesheets to confirm where the technician worked.The report was deleted. To check:Go to Reports › Filter › Show Deleted (bottom of the filter sidebar).Review deleted reports to confirm.
